Randy Jackson Will be Focusing on Mentoring

According to TMZ report, Jackson left American idol panelist and will be focusing on mentoring. Is this a sign that the show will have its overall makeover? The last American Idol season 11 got the smallest audience of any idol finale. And it seems that the competitor the Voice is growing its viewers but still the show remains one of the biggest draws on TV.
Carey has no officially co-panel yet. It seems that she can judge the idol itself. According to TMZ, she said "I Could Judge 'Idol' ... BY MYSELF!"
